Privacy Policy

Romi Lev is a private initiative started by women living in the Netherlands, currently working towards establishing a foundation. Until that is complete, responsibility for how this website handles personal information rests with the people running the initiative.

Waiting list: first name, email, phone, country of residence, time zone, preferred group and an optional note.

Registration form (sent after the introductory call): name, email, group and participation confirmations.

Contact: name, email, subject and message.

Donations: name, email, country, amount and note; for organisations, also organisation and contact details.

Each form also records the website language and submission time.

To contact you, manage the waiting list, arrange the introductory call and handle your enquiry or donation, based on your consent and on steps you asked us to take before participation.

Sensitive information: your group choice reveals a stillbirth or a pregnancy. We store it only with your separate, explicit consent, solely to place you in a suitable group. Medical details are not needed.

We never add you to marketing emails without separate agreement.

Only the Romi Lev team handling enquiries can access your information.

The website is hosted on Lovable and delivered through Cloudflare's network (hosting, routing and availability).

Form submissions are stored in the Lovable Cloud database, hosted with AWS in Ireland.

Notifications are sent through Lovable's managed email service, which runs on Amazon Web Services infrastructure.

Sessions take place on Zoom, so the details used to join a session (name, email and phone number) are passed to Zoom.

Fonts are loaded from Google Fonts, so your IP address is sent to Google when the site loads.

Donations are collected through a Stripe payment link. Card details are entered on Stripe's payment page and are never entered on our site or stored by us. The email address you provide in the donation form is passed to Stripe to prefill the payment page, and payment details are processed by Stripe under its own privacy policy.

The website's database is stored in Ireland (AWS, region eu-west-1).

According to the list of sub-processors Lovable publishes, its infrastructure runs mainly in the European Union (Google Cloud in the Netherlands, Supabase) and in the United Kingdom (Amazon Web Services in London), with some services also operating in the United States; Cloudflare's network is global.

Google and Zoom may also process information outside the European Economic Area.

This means part of the information may be stored or accessed outside the Netherlands and outside the EEA, subject to the safeguards each provider applies.

Waiting-list details: up to 12 months after our last contact with you, or sooner if you ask us to delete them.

Registration details: for the duration of the cycle and up to 12 months afterwards.

Contact-form messages: up to 12 months after your enquiry is closed.

Donation and financial records: 7 years, in line with standard accounting practice in the Netherlands.

Your group choice (sensitive information): deleted as soon as you are placed in a group or the waiting list closes.

A deletion request can be sent to romilev.foundation@gmail.com. We remove the information from live records; backup copies fall away in the ordinary backup cycle, about 30 days.

You may request access, correction, deletion or restriction, object to processing, or withdraw consent at any time by writing to romilev.foundation@gmail.com.

If you are in the Netherlands, you can complain to the Dutch Data Protection Authority (Autoriteit Persoonsgegevens). If you live in another country, you keep the right to complain to the competent authority there.

The website does not use advertising cookies, does not embed videos or outside content, and has no analytics tools of its own.

Your browser stores only your language choice (local storage). The hosting provider may keep technical access logs, and Lovable's monitoring tool reports technical faults on the site.
